Platinum Corral was founded in 1996 as a multi-unit franchise operator of Golden Corral Buffet-Grill restaurants. We have become one of the largest, most progressive and fastest growing operations in the system with units in North Carolina and Virginia.
Platinum had 11 of its restaurants earn the Diamond Award for Operations Excellence in 2019. Only 24 of these Awards for Operations Excellence were presented in the entire Golden Corral Brand of almost 500 restaurants in 2019.
Recognized nationally for our efforts in employee recognition and retention, we have been the recipient of the "People and Performance Award" through the Nation's Restaurant News. Platinum was also recognized twice by Golden Corral Corporate with its "Caring Corral Culture Award" for our internal programs designed to promote retention of all our Employees.
